Capturing the history of our schools and preserving them for generations to come, through the eyes of the children themselves.

Supported by the National Lottery Heritage Fund, the Through Our Eyes Heritage Project has been created by end2end TV CIC who will be managing it in partnership with Bexley Council Archives, Bexley Music and Hall Place & Gardens, Bexley.

The project will work with four local schools and run from May 2023 – December 2024. Young people will plan and film documentaries about their schools' histories from WWII to the present day; collecting stories and investigating the impact of entrance examinations by interviewing alumni.

Digital outcomes will be exhibited in The Stables Gallery at Hall Place & Gardens between 17th February - 18th March 2024, before going on tour!

Heritage meets innovation in this ground breaking project, where young people discover and create history simultaneously! Find out more here.

"We enjoyed seeing the newspapers and using the microfilm at Bexley Archives. Being in different TV Production roles allowed us to really work well as a team. We're bringing heritage to life 'through our eyes'."
